Being in Hawaii for the fall holidays, I just don't expect much. I refuse to buy overpriced pumpkins ($16 a piece - and that's at Sams Club!), and I don't expect to feel like sipping hot cocoa and cooking soup and making goodies on cool autumn days. I just don't expect it to feel in any way like fall, and yet today, it may just feel a little like fall after all. Within this past week, Megan and I, with kiddos in tow, managed to pick out our pumpkins in Kapolei (the only pumpkin patch on the island) and I even managed to make homemade soup and goodies. So, with five cute little pumpkins sitting by my front door, its feeling a little fallish around here.
